Life’s good!

Old News: A few weekends ago, I celebrated another milestone – a birthday! Will was so wonderful! That was actually the first night we spent in Pomona. He also set up an appointment for a massage (as a SURPRISE!), we saw a great movie (Stomp the Yard) and went shopping on a gift certificate! I bought a gorgeous purplish-blue cashmere sweater, a nightgown and Will bought a sweater (he needed it) all for $30! It was a great day! =)

This weekend was littered with accomplishments a long time in coming! 1) I was able to move more into Pomona over the weekend & settle a little more. 2) We purchased the end unit so we have lots of windows facing the new community. We got some curtains up last night. WHEW! 3) We’re getting some help on the Rialto house from the neighborhood kids. They’re pretty good with a paintbrush & we’re still making a lot of progress! 4) I had a couple of very important meetings with family starting Thursday and ending last night. Both meetings went well and things appear to be improving. 5) Will took me to the company “Christmas” party (I know, strange it’s at the end of January! Go figure!). He was excited to introduce his wife. =) 6) We finally finished our selections for the wedding album (we had to sort through 1140 pictures!) and are now finalizing touches before it’s printed!

I start school tomorrow night, I must confess, with some reluctance but also with curiosity…

New News: My stepmother is engaged to Neil. Their wedding will be in August and they just selected a location in Dana Point.

  • Hi Christina... YAY! I can add another blessing to your list... we can post comments on your blog. A little thing, I know. :)

How are you? Thank you so much for the thoughtful card that you sent with Anna. I really liked the calendar cards you inserted. Funny and encouraging stuff.

I FINALLY updated my blog (well, the pics part), so I hope that will do as part of my thank you.

I'm praying for your Talbot classes, you and your hubby, and work!

    God bless! - karisa
