Things are still flyin’…

We finally finished the primer... and the first coat on the front end of the house over the weekend. I went out to Rialto on Tuesday after work and helped Will finish the details (below the eaves & at the floor board). I tried to do some homework and then I had to get things together for Mother’s Day (which if not celebrated to Mother’s satisfaction, it’s almost better to be where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth!). I left Will’s house at 11:20 and got home a little after 1 a.m. (a whole hour later than I should have! The freeway was closed off so everyone had to exit at Grand Avenue in Pomona and then I got stuck behind a train, which although was moving SLOWLY initially, came to a complete STANDSTILL for about 15 minutes… I lost patience and decided to make my way through another route…). Whenever there is road construction, I think of Kerry. Strange, I know. She wrote an article which appeared in the OC Register several years ago about her trip from Irvine to LAX at 9 p.m. It took her WAY too long due through traffic and road construction detours. The title was “Road Construction is Driving Me Crazy!” I just grin when I think of it as I’m waiting for passing rights on the highways and the byways…

Will & I went to my new chiropractor yesterday and spoke with the doctor regarding my treatment schedule. It was nice because at first, Will was resistant to this guy and now, it appears that he really likes him. He even started to share the Gospel with him! The chiropractor adjusts me totally differently than the other chiropractors did (using much different equipment), but I do feel better.

We were both wiped out yesterday and so we didn’t do any training, even though we had intended to… After my midnight driving experience, I’m afraid I wasn’t able to accomplish much on the homework front either. But, at that point, I figure you can only do what you can do and there’s always tomorrow….

On a totally different note, the wedding plans are flying at the moment. Jeff, if you’re reading this, we may actually have to do a Sunday wedding. I know you advised against it, but based on cost, it may be the best way to go. We’re considering a number of different locations and will make our final decision very soon. I did the math today and here’s where we’re at:

From and including: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 To, but not including: Saturday, October 21, 2006

It is 164 days from today to the wedding! Or 5 months, 11 days excluding the end date

Alternative time units:
164 days can be converted to one of these units:
14,169,600 seconds
236,160 minutes
3936 hours
23 weeks
(rounded down)

Gracie and Olga are taking some initiative and are really blessing me on some of the other details of the wedding. There are still many more details to address, but it’s very nice to have help!

Ttfn! =)
