So, it's been forever....
Sorry for those of you who are following this. Are you out there? Believe it or not, I'm still alive...
Okay, I'll try to summarize briefly what's happened the last few months.
+ I moved. It was time to get out and I found a house in Fullerton where Corky and I could go. We moved in early August and have been very happy since. He's thrilled to finally have a backyard and I'm somewhat relieved too... I'm still unpacking a bit, but it's good.
+ I got the job! I started in the Loan Department at Evangelical Christian Credit Union on September 26th! Kerry wasn't happy, but I'm very glad to have the opportunity to grow and work closer to home! Especially with the cost of gas.... =) I'll be working with churches and ministries all over the country (potentially over the world) that are trying to expand their ministries. For now, I'm still on the learning curve and so it will take a bit for me to be up and running on my own. Very cool!
+ I started at Talbot. I'm taking two classes: 1) Personal Foundations Of Ministry and 2) Theological Research Methodologies. Classes are interesting and honestly, I have questions about the reasoning behind them, but mostly, I want to be teachable.
+ Will and I finished the marathon in Chicago on the 9th. I'm so glad to have that behind us! I have 2 new medals and some cool souvenirs.
[BTW, anyone want to help me? I need to raise a minimum of $600 for the Organization For Autism Research - OAR. Will has helped me tremendously in already raising half! But, please check out my donation page - www.justgiving.com/pfp/ChristinaAnderson. We went to the dinner before the run and several parents shared how amazing these kids are and how much of a benefit OAR provides! Comment to this blog if you want more info. And there's no deadline to donate, so please.... Thank you! You will make a difference in my life (and obligations!) and in the lives of those that deal with autism on a daily basis!]
+ I'm an auntie again! My new niece is named Annabel Kerra Elora Brown, but they're calling her Elora. She was born on 9/8/05 and she was 7 pounds and 2 ounces. Will and I just returned from North Carolina and had the pleasure of spending several days with this new addition!
+ Remember the car accident a few months ago I mentioned while I was in Washington state? Well, apparently they hit me harder than I thought! It took several weeks to develop, but I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain in my neck, back and had a splitting headache several times a few weeks ago. Jeff and Deb recommended a great chiropractor and as I have been told, they ask you to come back and again. I've been in to see them several times now and I'm very grateful to say that I've experienced a lot of freedom in motion and from pain! Will's now seeing them too and feeling improvement, as he was also in the car with us. Thank you Deb and Jeff!!
+ Will and I are also going to Israel and Jordan from December 27 - January 19th. We're really excited! We have been reviewing photos of previous trips and I never imagined they would be so beautiful!
+ Will bought me a ring - not an engagement ring, a promise ring. He says he's going to ask me to marry him, but he understands that there hasn't been enough time to actually ask... It's a beautiful thought and a marvelous ring! Four diamonds displayed in a line over white gold!! So awesome!!
Well, that's it in a nutshell. For those of you who are willing, I would totally appreciate your prayers. It's been a pretty stressful road and as you can see, there's already physical affects...
Take care and until next time...........................
