Hot Enough?

Well, now that we have reached the heat of summer, I thought to myself, "Self, I just don't think I'm hot enough... Hey, I got an idea. Let's go to Arizona for the weekend!" To which, compliant Self replied, "Well now, that sounds like a fantastic idea! And when do we leave?" Answer: this evening. One of my best friends is having a surprise birthday party [courtesy of her twin sister - hilarious!] tomorrow night. It'll be doubly surprising since not only will the surprise party throw her off, but me being there will also dazzle her. So, that's the plan. 110 degrees F here I come!!

Running has taken a back seat this week. I did put in my long miles on Saturday [another 12], but I honestly don't know how I could do 10 in AZ heat! I already struggle with the heat during my runs here.... Let's just turn it up 30 degrees!

I got to hang out with some very dear friends this week. It's been a long time since I've spent time with Deb & Jeff. We discussed scrap-booking and recent events. We also went down for some bubbly... I'm referring to the hot-tub...

Last night I spent time with Will. We went out to eat and to Downtown Disneyland. He grabbed my hand and started to dance with me in the walk-way. A lady in a wheelchair turned around to watch us with a big smile. He's so great! On Wednesday, we went to a Utah reunion party. It was very cool. Our resident cinematographer completed the video and it was his big debut. Very awesome!

I paid my fees and completed the paperwork for Talbot. I still have to register for the class and of course, pay....
