Gotta Have It!
So, what precisely is it that I have to have? You guess it! CHOCOLATE!!! After a 1.5 mile run this evening, my running partner suggested Baskin Robbins... The rest is history! [Were you even thinking about ice cream when you started reading this?]
I had an eventful day... I went to the office I only visit 1-day/week and there is always plenty waiting for me. My boss wrote me a memo/to-do list and the last line illustrates my experience: "there's more where all this came from." Seriously, I remember looking at the clock when I got in, and the next thing I knew, it was time to go.
Also, one thing I do look forward to is my Wednesday afternoon meeting with a Jehovah Witness friend. We have been meeting since November and because I don't know much about JWs, I let her do a lot of talking. The last two weeks, I have been reading and preparing for a rather important discussion on John 1:1 & 3. JWs take the liberty of translating verse 1 with "... and the Word was a God". Thanks to some helpful input from friends, commentaries and my 8-week study of Greek, I was excited to share with her... But, alas, she forgot. So, there I was for an hour alone. It was a productive hour anyway. I prayed and did some work....
The climax (and pretty much conclusion) of my day included Gospel Choir rehearsal and the track for 6 laps.... Chocolate? Did someone say chocolate?!
WHERE?!
