Exciting news!

So, I finished 9 miles on Saturday! My goal (quite lofty, I might add) was to go running in the morning and then hang out with Will at Magic Mountain for his birthday celebration... We didn't make it to Magic Mountain. Surprise, surprise! I was too tired.

Speaking of Will, things have changed between us. We've gone from friends to dating 2 weeks ago. I was determined, it is true, not to date him, but alas he won me over. I had many inaccurate opinions of him from when I first met him, and the more I hung out with him, the more I realized it. It's been quite a journey so far... Facing fears and examining priorities. I know that there are many challenges and turns still ahead on this...

One hilarious event happened this weekend. I have been meeting with Mormon missionaries for the last several weeks. A couple of weeks ago, I brought out my copy of Mormon Doctrine and one of them (while thumbing through it), discovered an entry by McConkie regarding the Adam-God Doctrine (taught by Brigham Young). He mentioned that he had never heard of that before.... So, Saturday, my goal was to get down to the Institute of Religion and make a photo copy of Volume 1, Page 50 of Journal of Discourses. Both Institutes were closed and, as a last resort, we headed to the local Ward to see if they had a copy of the Discourses. Through a series of miraculous events, the very same missionaries made a copy of the page for me! It was such a God appointment! I'm looking forward to our next visit (Wednesday).
