Movin'

Wow, again, time slipped by...

A brief update for you, my faithful audience:

+ Not only enjoyed AZ on July 22-24, but also was able to visit friends in WA (state) and Victoria (BC) last weekend with Will. Although it was a bummer that my arrival wasn't too much of a surprise to the AZ birthday girl, the surprise party was really a SURPRISE, which made it worth the effort! And last weekend in WA/BC was also to visit good friends (one originally from So Cal and the other was a Bible school roommate in Austria). Both weekends had some commonality: a car accident (no one was seriously hurt), chocolate and girl time (talking, shopping, dress-up and hair styling, FUN!).
+ One more week of freedom - school starts the week of the 22nd. I'm excited!
+ It’s official: Steve’s not running the marathon. I’m doing it to help the Organization of Autism Research [http://www.runforautism.org/about.asp] AND I’m officially registered on the books for the run! Knowing this really helps me stay on target with my runs, especially, when there’s only 8 more weeks left!
+ Yes, I’m STILL running, but you’ve already heard enough about that…
+ I need to move out by the end of the year. And my little dog too! So the search begins….
+ Aside from these fun activities, I’ve kept myself busy with helping another friend move (Tom), going to the OC Fair (on the last day, HOT!), and of course working…

This weekend, I'm looking forward to:

+ Dinner (and perhaps a movie) with Will, Deb & Jeff! YIPPIE!!
+ Getting up early to take the boss to the airport. Her flight leaves LAX at 6:15! Yikes!
+ Running 14 miles on Saturday and 2+ on Sunday...
+ Deb's birthday party!
+ Church.

More later...
