What's new?

So many things have happened since my last update!

1) I went to try on my wedding dress. Wow! Gorgeous!!
2) We finished the cookies! It’s very nice to have that done! For those of you reading & coming to the ceremony/reception, they’ll be frozen until the day before (and yes, they’ll keep!). So, don’t worry about eating them…
3) We met with the cake lady and decided on the cake flavors. We need to combine efforts with the florist on this too…
4) We met with the music guy and now I have 4,000 songs to listen to…
5) The invitations are gone!!
6) We finished marriage counseling! Very cool!
7) I’ve notified all the relevant newspapers that we’re engaged. I really enjoyed doing that!
8) Will’s house in under construction. The roof has been completed and the bathroom should be finished soon.
9) We’ve been meeting with photographers and have some ideas.
10) The bridesmaid dresses have arrived and most seem pleased. Alterations are now in order. The designer must use a ladies basketball team for models because all the dresses are made for ladies 5’10”+.
11) On school, I’m done with the papers, just need to get on the teaching syllabus.
12) We’ve been running a fair amount too. We did a 5 miler a few weeks ago in Huntington Beach. We were both so exhausted afterwards!!
13) Oh, and I was contacted about my ten year high school reunion! Guess when it is? Sometime in October, which may present a scheduling conflict with the wedding….
14) We went down to visit our new condo last weekend! They’ve also made a lot of progress and we’re soooo excited!!
15) On Monday, I had four loans closing by Thursday. On Tuesday, I had three loans closing. On Wednesday, I had two loans. At this rate, we’ll see what actually funds tomorrow…

And on a totally different note, I’ve been reflecting on God’s goodness lately. His thoughtfulness and power is so amazing!! He is faithful and beautiful! And we are so blessed!!
