Oops!
So, time runs away from me too quickly!!
Last weekend, Will & I went down to pick out our upgrades. That was fun and I'm glad to say that there weren't a lot of extras required. And bonus: we were able to pay CASH for them! We're pleased.
I'm also running better than ever! I decided a few days ago that I felt good and so I started running. By the time I made it home, Will was at my house and we drove the route. I had run 2.4 miles without stopping and up and down some rather steep hills too! I was SO pleased! I have tried to duplicate that run 2 times since, and while not feeling as "spry" as I did the first time, my time has actually improved! I've been very encouraged!
Work is picking up again too, which is good - and well, bad. I have plenty of things to be concentrating on and borrowers that aren't serious about funding, well, that's just plain frustrating! Last month, I mentioned that loan that kept us on pins and needles... Well on Friday, I sent out another RUSH package, hopeful, yet again. Today, I found out that we're actually foreclosing! Well, alrighty then! And, there are two more loans in the wing for the end of the month. One of them is likewise tentative....
I'm grateful though to all the ladies who have responded to me so that I could order the Bridesmaid dresses! I'm SOOO relieved to have that off my mind! =)
Last weekend was a lot of fun too. Ms. Cooky Levy is leaving So. Cali and heading to New Mexico [the cost of living is cheaper, go figure!]. The old choir got together at Lucille's on Saturday night, talked, laughed and sang (at Starbucks) until 11:20. It was very, very cool! She cried, as usual. Sweet Cooky!! I'm so excited for her, and yet very sad to see her go. She has impacted my life in countless ways... and she knows that too. =)
On Sunday, I went with my old work gang out to visit their new additions. Two of the ladies I worked with 2 years ago had babies and so the 5 of us adults (and two little ones) met up and chatted (I learned a WHOLE lot about having children!) and laughed and just enjoyed each other again. It was very refreshing... The next events with them include a wedding shower (for another one of the team members), birthdays, my wedding shower, my wedding, Christmas and we're on a roll again! =)
Praise the Lord for long, rich friendships!
Something that just ministered to me a ton was :
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Until we meet again......
